    Beef Stroganoff

I follow Mary Pat Sass (fka, The Millennial Farmwife) on Instagram and a few months ago she posted an Instastory of her making this beef stroganoff. I thought it sounded good, so I gave it a try and it has quickly become one of my husband’s and my favorite beef entrees. Hope you like it, too! Print Recipe Beef Stroganoff I have not timed myself when I've made this dish, but it really doesn't take too long. Long enough to brown hamburger and cook noodles. Course Main Dish Servings Ingredients 1 pound Ground Beef12 oz bag egg noodles I actually use a little less than an entire bag. equal parts…

    Baked Spaghetti

For my husband’s birthday this year, he requested baked spaghetti. There were two problems with that request. No, actually there were three. I had never made baked spaghetti, I didn’t even have a recipe and I discovered later that we didn’t have any spaghetti on hand. I had a lot of other pasta noodles except that one. Pinterest to the rescue! (at least for the first two problems) I went to Pinterest and searched for Baked Spaghetti and found one seemed pretty easy by The Cozy Cook. I did tweak it a bit to fit our liking, such as leaving out the peppers and using minced onion instead of real…

    Cool Whip Cookies

My mom has been making these cookies for as long as I can remember. I think some may call them Crinkle cookies. The wonderful thing about cool whip cookies is that you can make them in any flavor you want, as long as there is a cake mix for it. Weekend Recap

This past weekend wasn’t going to be overly busy and, before I knew it, it was gone. The only thing we really had planned to do was go on a date Friday evening. We haven’t been on an official date in quite a few months. We’d been using grocery trips as our “date”, which is sad considering we haven’t been married long but definitely shows how old we are. A lot of changes have taken place in our lives over the last five months, some due to the pandemic, some not. Some good, some blessings in disguise. So, Ryan felt that we needed a date night. Who’s Open and Who’s…

    Zucchini Bread

Growing up, I only had zucchini two ways: in a cake and in a loaf. I really should probably learn to like it without all the carbs, but it’s so good and is always a fun Summer treat. I made zucchini cake earlier this Summer, but it kind of flopped. I’ll try that again later; as for now, I’ll post the recipe for the zucchini bread since it turned out better.
